A short post to say I’ve revised my opinion on Singapore. I now think it’s a great place to go on Holiday but a notsogreat place to travel. What’s the distinction? Well I think you holiday in Vegas, Macau and Blackpool for a fun time with drink and entertainment. Singapore has great shopping, good entertainment, friedly people plus two new casinos on the way.
I think you “travel” to Malaysia, Vietnam and Africa in order to enjoy yourself in a different way, by experiencing things you never would or even could back in the everyday normality of life at home. For that, SG has not caught my eye.
